Post-Wildfire Smoke & Odor Cleanup Services

Breathe Easy Again
Wildfires don't need to reach your house to cause significant harm. Smoke, soot, and other dangerous particles can enter your indoor environment even if you are not directly exposed to fire, and they can pose health risks long after the flames have gone out. Clean, safe indoor air quality restoration is our specialty at BH Environmental, where we specialize in post-wildfire smoke and odor cleanup.
Why Post-Wildfire Testing & Cleanup Matter?
Volatile organic compounds (VOCs), ash, soot, and fine particles are released into the atmosphere by wildfires, endangering respiratory health and lowering indoor air quality. Furthermore, drinking water supplies may become contaminated by harmful metals from burned materials. Long-term health problems can result from exposure to these pollutants, even at low levels. By identifying and removing these hidden hazards, our thorough testing remediation services guarantee that your house or place of business is safe to occupy.
Our Certified Wildfire Smoke & Odor Cleanup Process
Our focus is on properties affected by smoke, not homes that have been structurally burned.
Post-Wildfire Environmental Testing Services
We provide a range of specialized testing options to ensure your indoor environment is actually safe.
- Particle Analysis – Air: Consists of three indoor samples and a baseline to identify environmental debris, minerals, soot, and char. (Airborne mold spore analysis- option)
- Combustion By-Products & Environmental Dust – Tape Lift: Uses detailed microscope imagery to identify surface contaminants such as mold, soot, char, and asbestos.
- Simple Testing: To verify whether wildfire residues are present or absent, simply lift the tape.
- VOC Testing: Thorough testing using TO-15 techniques for 74 known VOCs. Air samples are gathered in canisters made of stainless steel and examined in accredited laboratories.
- Water Testing: Finds hazardous microbes and metals that could have tainted your drinking water following a wildfire. You can choose from a variety of testing packages to make sure your water is safe to drink.
